I tell you, it will be more bearable on that day for Sodom ¹  than for that town! ² 

but on the day Lot went out from Sodom, fire and sulfur rained down from heaven and destroyed them all. ¹ 

and said to them, “Thus it stands written that the Christ ¹  would suffer ²  and would rise from the dead on the third day,

(Now the day on which Jesus made the mud ¹  and caused him to see ²  was a Sabbath.) ³ 

Martha said, ¹  “I know that he will come back to life again ²  in the resurrection at the last day.”

So those who accepted ¹  his message ²  were baptized, and that day about three thousand people ³  were added. ⁴ 

but ¹  God raised him up on the third day and caused him to be seen, ² 

On a day determined in advance, Herod ¹  put on his royal robes, ²  sat down on the judgment seat, ³  and made a speech ⁴  to them.

Therefore I declare ¹  to you today that I am innocent ²  of the blood of you all. ³ 

Let us live decently as in the daytime, not in carousing and drunkenness, not in sexual immorality and sensuality, not in discord and jealousy.

He ¹  will also strengthen you to the end, so that you will be blameless on the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.

And let us not be immoral, as some of them were, and twenty-three thousand died in a single day. ¹ 

But you, brothers and sisters, ¹  are not in the darkness for the day to overtake you like a thief would.

You have lived indulgently and luxuriously on the earth. You have fattened your hearts in a day of slaughter. ¹ 

I was in the Spirit ¹  on the Lord’s Day ²  when ³  I heard behind me a loud voice like a trumpet,

because the great day of their ¹  wrath has come, and who is able to withstand it?” ² 

I ¹  tell you that on the day of judgment, people will give an account for every worthless word they speak.

and will turn him over to the Gentiles to be mocked and flogged severely ¹  and crucified. ²  Yet ³  on the third day, he will be raised.”

then the master of that slave will come on a day when he does not expect him and at an hour he does not foresee,

On ¹  the eighth day ²  they came to circumcise the child, and they wanted to name ³  him Zechariah after his father.
