When he was alone, those around him with the twelve asked him about the parables.

The girl got up at once and began to walk around (she was twelve years old). They were completely astonished at this. ¹ 

Then ¹  Judas Iscariot, one of the twelve, went to the chief priests to betray Jesus into their hands. ² 

He said to them, “It is one of the twelve, one who dips his hand ¹  with me into the bowl. ² 

Now ¹  a woman was there who had been suffering from a hemorrhage ²  for twelve years ³  but could not be healed by anyone.

After ¹  Jesus ²  called ³  the twelve ⁴  together, he gave them power and authority over all demons and to cure ⁵  diseases,

They all ate and were satisfied, and what was left over ¹  was picked up – twelve baskets of broken pieces.

Then ¹  Satan ²  entered Judas, the one called Iscariot, who was one of the twelve. ³ 

(Now he said this about Judas son of Simon Iscariot, ¹  for Judas, ²  one of the twelve, was going to betray him.) ³ 

Now Thomas (called Didymus), ¹  one of the twelve, was not with them when Jesus came.

From James, ¹  a slave ²  of God and the Lord Jesus Christ, to the twelve tribes dispersed abroad. ³  Greetings!

Jesus ¹  called his twelve disciples and gave them authority over unclean spirits ²  so they could cast them out and heal every kind of disease and sickness. ³ 

Jesus sent out these twelve, instructing them as follows: ¹  “Do not go to Gentile regions ²  and do not enter any Samaritan town. ³ 

When ¹  Jesus had finished instructing his twelve disciples, he went on from there to teach and preach in their towns.

As Jesus was going up to Jerusalem, ¹  he took the twelve ²  aside privately and said to them on the way,

Or do you think that I cannot call on my Father, and that he would send me more than twelve legions ¹  of angels right now?

Jesus ¹  called the twelve and began to send them out two by two. He gave them authority over the unclean spirits. ² 

When I broke the five loaves for the five thousand, how many baskets full of pieces did you pick up?” They replied, “Twelve.”

After he sat down, he called the twelve and said to them, “If anyone wants to be first, he must be last of all and servant of all.”

Then ¹  Jesus ²  entered Jerusalem and went to the temple. And after looking around at everything, he went out to Bethany with the twelve since it was already late.
