So also you, when you see these things happening, know ¹  that he is near, right at the door.

“You are the ones who have remained ¹  with me in my trials.

You have sent to John, ¹  and he has testified to the truth.

So Jesus said to the twelve, “You don’t want to go away too, do you?” ¹ 

Then the Pharisees answered, ¹  “You haven’t been deceived too, have you? ² 

You people ¹  judge by outward appearances; ²  I do not judge anyone. ³ 

But you refuse to believe because you are not my sheep.

For I have given you an example ¹  – you should do just as I have done for you.

You are clean already ¹  because of the word that I have spoken to you.

You are my friends ¹  if you do what I command you.

and you also will testify, because you have been with me from the beginning.

Just as you were formerly disobedient to God, but have now received mercy due to their disobedience,

For what do I have to do with judging those outside? Are you not to judge those inside?

I am speaking to thoughtful people. Consider what I say.

Now you are Christ’s body, and each of you is a member of it.

also to submit to people like this, and to everyone who cooperates in the work and labors hard.

Now as a fair exchange – I speak as to my ¹  children – open wide your hearts to us ²  also.

And if you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s descendants, ¹  heirs according to the promise.

in whom you also are being built together into a dwelling place of God in the Spirit.

And in the same way you also should be glad and rejoice together with me.
