if ¹  we are being examined ²  today for a good deed ³  done to a sick man – by what means this man was healed ⁴  –

On the contrary, we believe that we are saved through ¹  the grace of the Lord Jesus, in the same way as they are.” ² 

For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. ¹ 

if somehow I could provoke my people to jealousy and save some of them.

For we are a sweet aroma of Christ to God among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing –

since he wants ¹  all people ²  to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth.

And if the righteous are barely saved, what will become of ¹  the ungodly and sinners? ² 

And have mercy on those who waver;

But when Jesus turned and saw her he said, “Have courage, daughter! Your faith has made you well.” ¹  And the woman was healed ²  from that hour.

For whoever wants to save his life ¹  will lose it, ²  but whoever loses his life for my sake and for the gospel will save it.

The people also stood there watching, but the rulers ridiculed ¹  him, saying, “He saved others. Let him save ²  himself if ³  he is the Christ ⁴  of God, his chosen one!”

And you will be hated by everyone because of my name. But the one who endures to the end will be saved.

But when he saw the strong wind he became afraid. And starting to sink, he cried out, ¹  “Lord, save me!”

He ¹  said to the woman, “Your faith ²  has saved you; ³  go in peace.”

Then ¹  he said to her, “Daughter, your faith has made you well. ²  Go in peace.”

But when Jesus heard this, he told ¹  him, “Do not be afraid; just believe, and she will be healed.” ² 

Someone ¹  asked ²  him, “Lord, will only a few ³  be saved?” So ⁴  he said to them,

One of the criminals who was hanging there railed at him, saying, “Aren’t ¹  you the Christ? ²  Save yourself and us!”
