“The kingdom of heaven can be compared to a king who gave a wedding banquet for his son.

The ¹  next day (which is after the day of preparation) the chief priests and the Pharisees ²  assembled before Pilate

Sadducees ¹  (who say there is no resurrection) ²  also came to him and asked him, ³ 

A man named Barabbas was imprisoned with rebels who had committed murder during an insurrection.

Every person ¹  who does not obey that prophet will be destroyed and thus removed ²  from the people.’ ³ 

All ¹  those who lived in Lydda ²  and Sharon ³  saw him, and they ⁴  turned ⁵  to the Lord.

When the horsemen ¹  came to Caesarea ²  and delivered the letter to the governor, they also presented ³  Paul to him.

When ¹  they had heard my case, ²  they wanted to release me, ³  because there was no basis for a death sentence ⁴  against me.

Now the church is ¹  his body, the fullness of him who fills all in all. ² 

For this reason I ask you ¹  not to lose heart because of what I am suffering for you, ²  which ³  is your glory. ⁴ 

“Honor your father and mother,” ¹  which is the first commandment accompanied by a promise, namely,

They ¹  will undergo the penalty of eternal destruction, away from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of his strength, ² 

nor to occupy themselves with myths and interminable genealogies. ¹  Such things promote useless speculations rather than God’s redemptive plan ²  that operates by faith.

They have strayed from the truth ¹  by saying that the resurrection has already occurred, and they are undermining some people’s faith.

who must be silenced because they mislead whole families by teaching for dishonest gain what ought not to be taught.

But ¹  now Jesus ²  has obtained a superior ministry, since ³  the covenant that he mediates is also better and is enacted ⁴  on better promises. ⁵
