It is the same with the resurrection of the dead. What is sown is perishable, what is raised is imperishable. ¹ 

And although you were ¹  dead ²  in your transgressions and sins,

and so, somehow, ¹  to attain to the resurrection from the dead.

Remember Jesus Christ, raised from the dead, a descendant of David; ¹  such is my gospel, ² 

teaching about baptisms, laying on of hands, resurrection of the dead, and eternal judgment.

For a will takes effect only at death, since it carries no force while the one who made it is alive.

So also faith, if it does not have works, is dead being by itself.

They will face a reckoning before ¹  Jesus Christ ²  who stands ready to judge the living and the dead.

Moreover if the Spirit of the one ¹  who raised Jesus from the dead lives in you, the one who raised Christ ²  from the dead will also make your mortal bodies alive through his Spirit who lives in you. ³ 

The ¹  sea gave up the dead that were in it, and Death ²  and Hades gave up the dead that were in them, and each one was judged according to his deeds.

Heal the sick, raise the dead, ¹  cleanse lepers, cast out demons. Freely you received, freely give.

Now as for the resurrection of the dead, have you not read what was spoken to you by God, ¹ 

They kept this statement to themselves, discussing what this rising from the dead meant.

It shrieked, threw him into terrible convulsions, and came out. The boy ¹  looked so much like a corpse that many said, “He is dead!”

For when they rise from the dead, they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are like angels ¹  in heaven.

So ¹  the dead man ²  sat up and began to speak, and Jesus ³  gave him back ⁴  to his mother.

Then ¹  the rich man ²  said, ‘No, father Abraham, but if someone from the dead ³  goes to them, they will repent.’

and said to them, “Thus it stands written that the Christ ¹  would suffer ²  and would rise from the dead on the third day,

For just as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, ¹  so also the Son gives life to whomever he wishes. ² 

angry ¹  because they were teaching the people and announcing ²  in Jesus the resurrection of the dead.
