For everyone who lives on milk is inexperienced in the message of righteousness, because he is an infant.

And the fruit that consists of righteousness ¹  is planted ²  in peace among ³  those who make peace.

And he received the sign of circumcision as a seal of the righteousness that he had by faith while he was still uncircumcised, ¹  so that he would become ²  the father of all those who believe but have never been circumcised, ³  that they too could have righteousness credited to them.

But above all pursue his kingdom ¹  and righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

but in every nation ¹  the person who fears him ²  and does what is right ³  is welcomed before him.

But now ¹  apart from the law the righteousness of God (which is attested by the law and the prophets) ²  has been disclosed –

namely, the righteousness of God through the faithfulness of Jesus Christ ¹  for all who believe. For there is no distinction,

For what does the scripture say? “Abraham believed God, and it was credited ¹  to him as righteousness.” ² 

So even David himself speaks regarding the blessedness of the man to whom God credits righteousness apart from works:

But if Christ is in you, your body is dead because of sin, but ¹  the Spirit is your life ²  because of righteousness.

For Moses writes about the righteousness that is by the law: “The one who does these things will live by them.” ¹ 

For if there was glory in the ministry that produced condemnation, ¹  how much more does the ministry that produces righteousness ²  excel ³  in glory!

God ¹  made the one who did not know sin ²  to be sin for us, so that in him ³  we would become the righteousness of God.

by truthful ¹  teaching, ²  by the power of God, with weapons of righteousness both for the right hand and for the left, ³ 

Do not become partners ¹  with those who do not believe, for what partnership is there between righteousness and lawlessness, or what fellowship does light have with darkness?

Just as it is written, “He ¹  has scattered widely, he has given to the poor; his righteousness remains forever.” ² 

I do not set aside ¹  God’s grace, because if righteousness ²  could come through the law, then Christ died for nothing! ³ 

and to put on the new man who has been created in God’s image ¹  – in righteousness and holiness that comes from truth. ² 

Stand firm therefore, by fastening ¹  the belt of truth around your waist, ²  by putting on the breastplate of righteousness,

But you, as a person dedicated to God, ¹  keep away from all that. ²  Instead pursue righteousness, godliness, faithfulness, love, endurance, and gentleness.
