Jesus ¹  went out again by the sea. The whole crowd came to him, and he taught them.

So ¹  he went down to Capernaum, ²  a town ³  in Galilee, and on the Sabbath he began to teach the people. ⁴ 

for the Holy Spirit will teach you at that moment ¹  what you must say.” ² 

Then you will begin to say, ‘We ate and drank in your presence, and you taught in our streets.’ ¹ 

I wrote ¹  the former ²  account, ³  Theophilus, ⁴  about all that Jesus began to do and teach

angry ¹  because they were teaching the people and announcing ²  in Jesus the resurrection of the dead.

And they called them in and ordered ¹  them not to speak or teach at all in the name ²  of Jesus.

And every day both in the temple courts ¹  and from house to house, they did not stop teaching and proclaiming the good news ²  that Jesus was the Christ. ³ 

You know that I did not hold back from proclaiming ¹  to you anything that would be helpful, ²  and from teaching you publicly ³  and from house to house,

proclaiming the kingdom of God and teaching about the Lord Jesus Christ ¹  with complete boldness ²  and without restriction. ³ 

Does not nature ¹  itself teach you that if a man has long hair, it is a disgrace for him,

if indeed you heard about him and were taught in him, just as the truth is in Jesus.

rooted ¹  and built up in him and firm ²  in your ³  faith just as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.

Therefore, brothers and sisters, ¹  stand firm and hold on to the traditions that we taught you, whether by speech or by letter. ² 

who must be silenced because they mislead whole families by teaching for dishonest gain what ought not to be taught.

Now as for you, the anointing ¹  that you received from him ²  resides ³  in you, and you have no need for anyone to teach you. But as his ⁴  anointing teaches you about all things, it is true and is not a lie. Just as ⁵  it ⁶  has taught you, you reside ⁷  in him.

When ¹  Jesus had finished instructing his twelve disciples, he went on from there to teach and preach in their towns.

So they took the money and did as they were instructed. And this story is told among the Jews to this day. ¹ 

teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And remember, ¹  I am with you ²  always, to the end of the age.” ³ 

The people there ¹  were amazed by his teaching, because he taught them like one who had authority, ²  not like the experts in the law. ³
