I saw ¹  the glory of the God of Israel ²  coming from the east; ³  the sound was like that of rushing water; ⁴  and the earth radiated ⁵  his glory.

to him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.

But the one who boasts must boast in the Lord. ¹ 

It is not good ¹  to eat too much honey, nor is it honorable for people to seek their own glory. ² 

Ascribe to the Lord, O families of the nations, ascribe to the Lord splendor and strength!

Sing praises about the majesty of his reputation! ¹  Give him the honor he deserves! ² 

They traded their majestic God ¹  for the image of an ox that eats grass.

Gray hair is like ¹  a crown of glory; ²  it is attained ³  in the path of righteousness. ⁴ 

Grandchildren ¹  are like ²  a crown ³  to the elderly, and the glory ⁴  of children is their parents. ⁵ 

for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.

So I got up and went out to the valley, and the glory of the Lord was standing there, just like the glory I had seen by the Kebar River, ¹  and I threw myself face down.

For he received honor and glory from God the Father, when that ¹  voice was conveyed to him by the Majestic Glory: “This is my dear Son, in whom I am delighted.” ² 

And what if he is willing to make known the wealth of his glory on the objects ¹  of mercy that he has prepared beforehand for glory –

God wanted to make known to them the glorious ¹  riches of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.

And we all, with unveiled faces reflecting the glory of the Lord, ¹  are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another, ²  which is from ³  the Lord, who is the Spirit. ⁴ 

For a man should not have his head covered, since he is the image and glory of God. But the woman is the glory of the man.

But if the ministry that produced death – carved in letters on stone tablets ¹  – came with glory, so that the Israelites ²  could not keep their eyes fixed on the face of Moses because of the glory of his face ³  (a glory ⁴  which was made ineffective), ⁵ 

Now the appearance of the glory of the Lord was like a devouring fire on the top of the mountain in plain view ¹  of the people.

She said, “The glory has departed from Israel, because the ark of God has been captured.”
