“Come, eat ¹  some of my food, and drink some of the wine I have mixed. ² 

Jesus replied, ¹  “Everyone who drinks some of this water will be thirsty ²  again.

Then he set up the peeled branches in all the watering troughs where the flocks came to drink. He set up the branches in front of the flocks when they were in heat and came to drink. ¹ 

If they refuse to take the cup from your hand and drink it, tell them that the Lord who rules over all says ¹  ‘You most certainly must drink it! ² 

I ¹  tell you, from now on I will not drink of this fruit ²  of the vine until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father’s kingdom.”

But Jesus said to them, “You don’t know what you are asking! Are you able to drink the cup I drink or be baptized with the baptism I experience?” ¹ 

I tell you the truth, ¹  I will no longer drink of the fruit ²  of the vine until that day when I drink it new in the kingdom of God.”

For just as you ¹  have drunk ²  on my holy mountain, so all the nations will drink continually. ³  They will drink, and they will gulp down; they will be as though they had never been.

and offered Jesus ¹  wine mixed with gall to drink. ²  But after tasting it, he would not drink it.

They said to him, “We are able.” ¹  Then Jesus said to them, “You will drink the cup I drink, and you will be baptized with the baptism I experience,

They provide water for all the animals in the field; the wild donkeys quench their thirst.

What good will it do you ¹  then ²  to go down to Egypt to seek help from the Egyptians? ³  What good will it do you ⁴  to go over to Assyria to seek help from the Assyrians? ⁵ 

and he begins to beat his fellow slaves and to eat and drink with drunkards,

Do we not have the right to financial support? ¹ 

Fish ¹  in the Nile will die, the Nile will stink, and the Egyptians will be unable ²  to drink water from the Nile.”’”

and for a drink offering you must offer one-third of a hin of wine as a pleasing aroma to the Lord.

and you must present as the drink offering half a hin of wine with the fire offering as a pleasing aroma to the Lord.

This is the burnt offering for every Sabbath, ¹  besides the continual burnt offering and its drink offering.

and their grain offering and their drink offerings for the bulls, for the rams, and for the lambs, according to their number as prescribed,
