because you have been built ¹  on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, ²  with Christ Jesus himself as ³  the cornerstone. ⁴ 

But you, dear friends – recall the predictions ¹  foretold by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ. ² 

The ¹  wall of the city has twelve foundations, and on them are the twelve names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.

Then ¹  the apostles gathered around Jesus and told him everything they had done and taught.

From Paul, ¹  called to be an apostle of Christ Jesus ²  by the will of God, and Sosthenes, our brother,

From Paul, ¹  an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God, to further the promise ²  of life in Christ Jesus,

But when the apostles ¹  Barnabas and Paul heard about ²  it, they tore ³  their clothes and rushed out ⁴  into the crowd, shouting, ⁵ 

If I am not an apostle to others, at least I am to you, for you are the confirming sign ¹  of my apostleship in the Lord.

When ¹  morning came, he called his disciples and chose twelve of them, whom he also named apostles: ² 

Now it was Mary Magdalene, ¹  Joanna, ²  Mary the mother of James, and the other women with them who told these things to the apostles.

until the day he was taken up to heaven, ¹  after he had given orders ²  by ³  the Holy Spirit to the apostles he had chosen.

Now when they heard this, ¹  they were acutely distressed ²  and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, “What should we do, brothers?”

With ¹  great power the apostles were giving testimony ²  to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and great grace was on them all.

He ¹  kept back for himself part of the proceeds with his wife’s knowledge; he brought ²  only part of it and placed it at the apostles’ feet.

Now many miraculous signs ¹  and wonders came about among the people through the hands of the apostles. By ²  common consent ³  they were all meeting together in Solomon’s Portico. ⁴ 

and they summoned the apostles and had them beaten. ¹  Then ²  they ordered them not to speak in the name of Jesus and released them.

Now when the apostles in Jerusalem ¹  heard that Samaria had accepted the word ²  of God, they sent ³  Peter and John to them.

Now Simon, when he saw that the Spirit ¹  was given through the laying on of the apostles’ hands, offered them money,

When they arrived in Jerusalem, they were received ¹  by the church and the apostles and the elders, and they reported ²  all the things God had done with them. ³ 

They sent this letter with them: ¹  From the apostles ²  and elders, your brothers, ³  to the Gentile brothers and sisters ⁴  in Antioch, ⁵  Syria, ⁶  and Cilicia, greetings!
