And immediately the man ¹  stood up, took his stretcher, and went out in front of them all. They were all amazed and glorified God, saying, “We have never seen anything like this!”

When the whole crowd saw him, they were amazed and ran ¹  at once and greeted him.

Then Jesus said to them, “Give to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and to God the things that are God’s.” ¹  And they were utterly amazed at him.

Then ¹  astonishment ²  seized them all, and they glorified ³  God. They were filled with awe, ⁴  saying, “We have seen incredible ⁵  things ⁶  today.” ⁷ 

Then ¹  they were all astonished at the mighty power ²  of God.But while the entire crowd ³  was amazed at everything Jesus ⁴  was doing, he said to his disciples,

When the disciples saw it they were amazed, saying, “How did the fig tree wither so quickly?”

So ¹  he went away and began to proclaim in the Decapolis ²  what Jesus had done for him, ³  and all were amazed.

The disciples were astonished at these words. But again Jesus said to them, ¹  “Children, how hard it is ²  to enter the kingdom of God!

Now ¹  he was casting out a demon that was mute. ²  When ³  the demon had gone out, the man who had been mute began to speak, ⁴  and the crowds were amazed.

Now in that city was a man named Simon, who had been practicing magic ¹  and amazing the people of Samaria, claiming to be someone great.

So Moses thought, ¹  “I will turn aside to see ²  this amazing ³  sight. Why does the bush not burn up?” ⁴ 

There are three things that are too wonderful for me, ¹  four that I do not understand:

Then he went up with them into the boat, and the wind ceased. They were completely astonished,

For ¹  Peter ²  and all who were with him were astonished ³  at the catch of fish that they had taken,

Her ¹  parents were astonished, but he ordered them to tell no one ²  what had happened.

“They are dismayed ²  and cannot answer any more; they have nothing left to say. ³ 

When the crowds heard this, they were amazed at his teaching.

and all who heard it were astonished ¹  at what the shepherds said.

All ¹  who heard him were amazed and were saying, “Is this not ²  the man who in Jerusalem was ravaging ³  those who call on this name, and who had come here to bring them as prisoners ⁴  to the chief priests?”

They sat before him, arranged by order of birth, beginning with the firstborn and ending with the youngest. ¹  The men looked at each other in astonishment. ²
