It then turned from Baalah westward to Mount Seir, crossed to the slope of Mount Jearim on the north (that is Kesalon), descended to Beth Shemesh, and crossed to Timnah.

Their territory extended ¹  from Aroer at the edge of the Arnon valley as far as Mount Siyon ²  – that is, Hermon –

These were the nations: ¹  the five lords of the Philistines, all the Canaanites, the Sidonians, and the Hivites living in Mount Lebanon, from Mount Baal Hermon to Lebo-Hamath. ² 

Be prepared ¹  in the morning, and go up in the morning to Mount Sinai, and station yourself ²  for me there on the top of the mountain.

Now it is ordinarily an eleven-day journey ¹  from Horeb ²  to Kadesh Barnea ³  by way of Mount Seir. ⁴ 

For wild animals ¹  are prowling over Mount Zion, which lies desolate.

from Mount Halak on up to Seir, as far as Baal Gad in the Lebanon Valley below Mount Hermon. He captured all their kings and executed them. ¹ 

These are the statutes, regulations, and instructions which the Lord established ¹  between himself and the Israelites at Mount Sinai through ²  Moses.

¹ Now these are the records ²  of Aaron and Moses when ³  the Lord spoke with Moses on Mount Sinai.

And the Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron in Mount Hor, by the border of the land of Edom. He said:

Take Aaron and Eleazar his son, and bring them up on Mount Hor.

So Moses did as the Lord commanded; and they went up Mount Hor in the sight ¹  of the whole community.

It is a continual burnt offering that was instituted on Mount Sinai as a pleasing aroma, an offering made by fire to the Lord.

Now Aaron was 123 years old when he died in Mount Hor.

“‘And this will be your northern border: From the Great Sea you will draw a line to Mount Hor;

Their territory also included ¹  Gilead, Geshurite and Maacathite territory, all Mount Hermon, and all Bashan to Salecah –

When Sisera heard ¹  that Barak son of Abinoam had gone up to Mount Tabor,

Ahab sent messengers to all the Israelites and had the prophets assemble at Mount Carmel.

I will turn Mount Seir into a desolate ruin; ¹  I will cut off ²  from it the one who passes through or returns.

from Mount Hor you will draw a line to Lebo Hamath, ¹  and the direction of the border will be to Zedad.
