In earlier times you established the earth; the skies are your handiwork.

I learned long ago that you ordained your rules to last. ¹ 

The descendants of Jacob will enjoy their former privileges. Their community will be reestablished in my favor ¹  and I will punish all who try to oppress them.

But they did not have a child, because Elizabeth was barren, ¹  and they were both very old. ²

Your perpetual ruins will be rebuilt; ¹  you will reestablish the ancient foundations. You will be called, ‘The one who repairs broken walls, the one who makes the streets inhabitable again.’ ² 

Shepherd your people with your shepherd’s rod, ¹  the flock that belongs to you, ²  the one that lives alone in a thicket, in the midst of a pastureland. ³  Allow them to graze in Bashan and Gilead, ⁴  as they did in the old days. ⁵ 

So Joseph died at the age of 110. ¹  After they embalmed him, his body ²  was placed in a coffin in Egypt.

You must stand up in the presence of the aged, honor the presence of an elder, and fear your God. I am the Lord.

You must also offer ¹  one male goat ²  for a sin offering and two yearling lambs for a peace offering sacrifice,

and for the sacrifice of peace offerings: two bulls, five rams, five male goats, and five male lambs in their first year. This was the offering of Nahshon son of Amminadab.
