“He will then make one of the turtledoves ¹  or young pigeons, which are within his means, ² 

“Blood guilt ¹  will be accounted to any man ²  from the house of Israel ³  who slaughters an ox or a lamb or a goat inside the camp or outside the camp, ⁴ 

The leaders offered ¹  gifts ²  for ³  the dedication ⁴  of the altar when it was anointed. ⁵  And the leaders presented ⁶  their offering before the altar.

So he returned to him, and he was still ¹  standing by his burnt offering, he and all the princes of Moab.

You must offer these in addition to the burnt offering in the morning which is for a continual burnt offering.

Make sure you do not offer burnt offerings in any place you wish,

The next morning the people got up early and built an altar there. They offered up burnt sacrifices and token of peace. ¹ 

Those who carried the ark of the Lord took six steps and then David ¹  sacrificed an ox and a fatling calf.

After several years ¹  I came to bring to my people gifts for the poor ²  and to present offerings, ³ 

For by one offering he has perfected for all time those who are made holy.

Araunah told David, “My lord the king may take whatever he wishes ¹  and offer it. Look! Here are oxen for burnt offerings, and threshing sledges ²  and harnesses ³  for wood.

Hezekiah is the one who eliminated ¹  the Lord’s ²  high places and altars and then told Judah and Jerusalem, “At one altar you must worship and offer sacrifices.”

The second lamb you are to offer around sundown; you are to prepare for it the same meal offering as for the morning and the same drink offering, for a soothing aroma, an offering made by fire to the Lord.

“‘If his offering is a burnt offering ¹  from the herd he must present it as a flawless male; he must present it at the entrance ²  of the Meeting Tent for its ³  acceptance before the Lord.

Finally, the one presenting the offering ¹  must wash its entrails and its legs in water and the priest must offer all of it up in smoke on the altar ²  – it is ³  a burnt offering, a gift ⁴  of a soothing aroma to the Lord.
