I tell you, he will give them justice speedily. ¹  Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith ²  on earth?”

‘I tell you that everyone who has will be given more, ¹  but from the one who does not have, even what he has will be taken away. ² 

and said to him, ¹  “Tell us: By what authority ²  are you doing these things? ³  Or who it is who gave you this authority?”

Then ¹  he began to tell the people this parable: “A man ²  planted a vineyard, ³  leased it to tenant farmers, ⁴  and went on a journey for a long time.

and tell the owner of the house, ¹  ‘The Teacher says to you, “Where is the guest room where I may eat the Passover with my disciples?”’

For I tell you that from now on I will not drink of the fruit ¹  of the vine until the kingdom of God comes.” ² 

Jesus replied, ¹  “I tell you, Peter, the rooster will not crow ²  today until you have denied ³  three times that you know me.”

For I tell you that this scripture must be ¹  fulfilled in me, ‘And he was counted with the transgressors.’ ²  For what is written about me is being fulfilled.” ³ 

Then they said to him, “Who are you? Tell us ¹  so that we can give an answer to those who sent us. What do you say about yourself?”

He continued, ¹  “I tell all of you the solemn truth ²  – you will see heaven opened and the angels of God ascending and descending on the Son of Man.” ³ 

Jesus replied, ¹  “I tell you the solemn truth, ²  unless a person is born from above, ³  he cannot see the kingdom of God.” ⁴ 

Jesus answered, “I tell you the solemn truth, ¹  unless a person is born of water and spirit, ²  he cannot enter the kingdom of God.

I tell you the solemn truth, ¹  we speak about what we know and testify about what we have seen, but ²  you people ³  do not accept our testimony. ⁴ 

If I have told you people ¹  about earthly things and you don’t believe, how will you believe if I tell you about heavenly things? ² 

The woman said to him, “I know that Messiah is coming” (the one called Christ); ¹  “whenever he ²  comes, he will tell ³  us everything.” ⁴ 

The Jewish leaders ¹  surrounded him and asked, ²  “How long will you keep us in suspense? ³  If you are the Christ, ⁴  tell us plainly.” ⁵ 

I tell you the solemn truth, ¹  whoever accepts ²  the one I send accepts me, and whoever accepts me accepts the one who sent me.” ³ 

When he had said these things, Jesus was greatly distressed ¹  in spirit, and testified, ²  “I tell you the solemn truth, ³  one of you will betray me.” ⁴ 

Jesus answered, “Will you lay down your life for me? ¹  I tell you the solemn truth, ²  the rooster will not crow until you have denied me three times!

Everything that the Father has is mine; that is why I said the Spirit ¹  will receive from me what is mine ²  and will tell it to you. ³
