Solomon took a census ¹  of all the male resident foreigners in the land of Israel, after the census his father David had taken. There were 153,600 in all.

Abijah launched the attack with 400,000 well-trained warriors, ¹  while Jeroboam deployed against him 800,000 well-trained warriors. ² 

Asa had an army of 300,000 men from Judah, equipped with large shields and spears. He also had 280,000 men from Benjamin who carried small shields and were adept archers; they were all skilled warriors.

Some of the Philistines brought Jehoshaphat tribute, including a load of silver. The Arabs brought him 7,700 rams and 7,700 goats from their flocks.

Amaziah assembled the people of Judah ¹  and assigned them by families to the commanders of units of a thousand and the commanders of units of a hundred for all Judah and Benjamin. He counted those twenty years old and up and discovered there were 300,000 young men of fighting age ²  equipped with spears and shields. ³ 

They commanded an army of 307,500 skilled and able warriors who were ready to defend ¹  the king against his enemies.

His officials also willingly contributed to the people, priests, and Levites. Hilkiah, Zechariah, and Jehiel, the leaders of God’s temple, supplied 2,600 Passover sacrifices and 300 cattle.

His possessions ¹  included ²  7,000 sheep, 3,000 camels, 500 yoke of oxen, and 500 female donkeys; in addition he had a very great household. ³  Thus he ⁴  was the greatest of all the people in the east. ⁵ 

Never again will one of her infants live just a few days ¹  or an old man die before his time. ²  Indeed, no one will die before the age of a hundred, ³  anyone who fails to reach ⁴  the age of a hundred will be considered cursed.

in Nebuchadnezzar’s twenty-third year, ¹  Nebuzaradan, the captain of the royal guard, carried into exile 745 Judeans. In all 4,600 people went into exile.

The length of time Adam lived ¹  after he became the father of Seth was 800 years; during this time he had ²  other ³  sons and daughters.

Seth lived 807 years after he became the father of Enosh, and he had ¹  other ²  sons and daughters.

Enosh lived 815 years after he became the father of Kenan, and he had other sons and daughters.

Kenan lived 840 years after he became the father of Mahalalel, and he had other sons and daughters.

Mahalalel lived 830 years after he became the father of Jared, and he had other sons and daughters.

After he became the father of Methuselah, Enoch walked with God ¹  for 300 years, ²  and he had other ³  sons and daughters.

Methuselah lived 782 years after he became the father of Lamech, and he had other ¹  sons and daughters.

Lamech lived 595 years after he became the father of Noah, and he had other ¹  sons and daughters.

After Noah was 500 years old, he ¹  became the father of Shem, Ham, and Japheth.

So the Lord said, “My spirit will not remain in ¹  humankind indefinitely, ²  since ³  they ⁴  are mortal. ⁵  They ⁶  will remain for 120 more years.” ⁷
