and said to him, “Go wash in the pool of Siloam” ¹  (which is translated “sent”). ²  So the blind man ³  went away and washed, and came back seeing.

Many ¹  came to him and began to say, “John ²  performed ³  no miraculous sign, but everything John said about this man ⁴  was true!”

I came from the Father and entered into the world, but in turn, ¹  I am leaving the world and going back to the Father.” ² 

So Judas obtained a squad of soldiers ¹  and some officers of the chief priests and Pharisees. ²  They came to the orchard ³  with lanterns ⁴  and torches and weapons.

Then Jesus, because he knew everything that was going to happen to him, ¹  came and asked them, “Who are you looking for?” ² 

They ¹  came up to him again and again ²  and said, “Hail, king of the Jews!” ³  And they struck him repeatedly ⁴  in the face.

So Jesus came outside, wearing the crown of thorns and the purple robe. ¹  Pilate ²  said to them, “Look, here is the man!” ³ 

So the soldiers came and broke the legs of the two men who had been crucified ¹  with Jesus, ²  first the one and then the other. ³ 

Mary Magdalene came and informed the disciples, “I have seen the Lord!” And she told them ¹  what ²  Jesus ³  had said to her. ⁴ 

Meanwhile the other disciples came with the boat, dragging the net full of fish, for they were not far from land, only about a hundred yards. ¹ 

While Peter and John ¹  were speaking to the people, the priests and the commander ²  of the temple guard ³  and the Sadducees ⁴  came up ⁵  to them,

But many of those who had listened to ¹  the message ²  believed, and the number of the men ³  came to about five thousand.

A crowd of people from the towns around Jerusalem ¹  also came together, bringing the sick and those troubled by unclean spirits. ²  They ³  were all ⁴  being healed.

But someone came and reported to them, “Look! The men you put in prison are standing in the temple courts ¹  and teaching ²  the people!”

When ¹  he saw one of them being hurt unfairly, ²  Moses ³  came to his defense ⁴  and avenged the person who was mistreated by striking down the Egyptian.

When Moses saw it, he was amazed at the sight, and when he approached to investigate, there came the voice of the Lord,

Philip, however, found himself ¹  at Azotus, ²  and as he passed through the area, ³  he proclaimed the good news ⁴  to all the towns ⁵  until he came to Caesarea. ⁶ 

Now ¹  as Peter was traveling around from place to place, ²  he also came down to the saints who lived in Lydda. ³ 

About three o’clock one afternoon ¹  he saw clearly in a vision an angel of God ²  who came in ³  and said to him, “Cornelius.”

When ¹  he came and saw the grace of God, he rejoiced and encouraged them all to remain true ²  to the Lord with devoted hearts, ³
