He trusted in the Lord God of Israel; in this regard there was none like him among the kings of Judah either before or after. ¹ 

Remember, O my God, Tobiah and Sanballat in light of these actions of theirs – also Noadiah the prophetess and the other prophets who were trying to scare me!

But ¹  the tents of robbers are peaceful, and those who provoke God are confident ²  – who carry their god in their hands. ³ 

The Lord judges the nations. ¹  Vindicate me, Lord, because I am innocent, ²  because I am blameless, ³  O Exalted One! ⁴ 

Your loyal followers trust in you, ¹  for you, Lord, do not abandon those who seek your help. ² 

My God, I trust in you. Please do not let me be humiliated; do not let my enemies triumphantly rejoice over me!
