As David was going up the Mount of Olives, he was weeping as he went; his head was covered and his feet were bare. All the people who were with him also had their heads covered and were weeping as they went up.

He made ¹  the two pillars, the two bowl-shaped tops of the pillars, the latticework for the bowl-shaped tops of the two pillars,

ק (Qof) Get up! Cry out in the night ¹  when the night watches start! ²  Pour out your heart ³  like water before the face of the Lord! ⁴  Lift up your hands ⁵  to him for your children’s lives; ⁶  they are fainting ⁷  at every street corner. ⁸ 

He asked me, “What do you see?” I replied, ¹  “I see a menorah of pure gold with a receptacle at the top and seven lamps, with fourteen pipes going to the lamps.

And I will put hostility ¹  between you and the woman and between your offspring and her offspring; ²  her offspring will attack ³  your head, and ⁴  you ⁵  will attack her offspring’s heel.” ⁶ 

The waters kept on receding ¹  until the tenth month. On the first day of the tenth month, the tops of the mountains became visible. ² 

Then they said, “Come, let’s build ourselves a city and a tower with its top in the heavens ¹  so that ²  we may make a name for ourselves. Otherwise ³  we will be scattered ⁴  across the face of the entire earth.”

and had a dream. ¹  He saw ²  a stairway ³  erected on the earth with its top reaching to the heavens. The angels of God were going up and coming down it

Early ¹  in the morning Jacob ²  took the stone he had placed near his head ³  and set it up as a sacred stone. ⁴  Then he poured oil on top of it.

When the chief baker saw that the interpretation of the first dream was favorable, ¹  he said to Joseph, “I also appeared in my dream and there were three baskets of white bread ²  on my head.

In the top basket there were baked goods of every kind for Pharaoh, but the birds were eating them from the basket that was on my head.”

In three more days Pharaoh will decapitate you ¹  and impale you on a pole. Then the birds will eat your flesh from you.”

Joseph said to his father, “Not so, my father, for this is the firstborn. Put your right hand on his head.”
