But there will be delight ¹  for those who convict ²  the guilty, ³  and a pleasing blessing ⁴  will come on them.

A faithful person ¹  will have an abundance of blessings, but the one who hastens ²  to gain riches will not go unpunished.

and also that everyone should eat and drink, and find enjoyment in all his toil, for these things ¹  are a gift from God.

A fool will no longer be called honorable; a deceiver will no longer be called principled.

You must bear your punishment for your obscene conduct and your abominable practices, declares the Lord.

I scattered them among the nations; they were dispersed throughout foreign countries. In accordance with their behavior and their deeds I judged them.

Blessed is that slave whom the master finds at work ¹  when he comes.

Blessed is that slave ¹  whom his master finds at work ²  when he returns.

For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, but ¹  the one who humbles ²  himself will be exalted.”

But those who are regarded as worthy to share in ¹  that age and in the resurrection from the dead neither marry nor are given in marriage. ² 

it is not from ¹  works, so that no one can boast. ² 

“Honor your father and mother,” ¹  which is the first commandment accompanied by a promise, namely,

with this goal in mind, ¹  I strive toward the prize of the upward call of God ²  in Christ Jesus.

I do not say this because I am seeking a gift. ¹  Rather, I seek the credit that abounds to your account.

For it is right ¹  for God to repay with affliction those who afflict you,

They ¹  will undergo the penalty of eternal destruction, away from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of his strength, ² 

Through faith they conquered kingdoms, administered justice, ¹  gained what was promised, ²  shut the mouths of lions,

because you are attaining the goal of your faith – the salvation of your souls.

Then ¹  when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the crown of glory that never fades away.

And to the one who conquers ¹  and who continues in ²  my deeds until the end, I will give him authority over the nations ³  –
