For we do not write you anything other than what ¹  you can read and also understand. But I hope that you will understand completely ² 

For every one of God’s promises are “Yes” in him; therefore also through him the “Amen” is spoken, to the glory we give to God.

always carrying around in our body the death of Jesus, ¹  so that the life of Jesus may also be made visible ²  in our body.

Thus ¹  we urged ²  Titus that, just as he had previously begun this work, ³  so also he should complete this act of kindness ⁴  for you.

to finish what you started, ¹  so that just as you wanted to do it eagerly, ²  you can also complete it ³  according to your means. ⁴ 

At the present time, your abundance will meet their need, ¹  so that one day their abundance may also meet your need, and thus there may be equality,

because the service of this ministry is not only providing for ¹  the needs of the saints but is also overflowing with many thanks to God.

Let such a person consider this: What we say ¹  by letters when we are absent, we also are in actions when we are present.

Therefore it is not surprising his servants also disguise themselves ¹  as servants of righteousness, whose end will correspond to their actions. ² 

And the rest of the Jews also joined with him in this hypocrisy, so that even Barnabas was led astray with them ¹  by their hypocrisy.

But if while seeking to be justified in Christ we ourselves have also been found to be sinners, is Christ then one who encourages ¹  sin? Absolutely not!

So you are no longer a slave but a son, and if you are ¹  a son, then you are also an heir through God. ² 

far above every rule and authority and power and dominion and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the one to come.

He, the very one ¹  who descended, is also the one who ascended above all the heavens, in order to fill all things.

and live ¹  in love, just as Christ also loved us ²  and gave himself for us, a sacrificial and fragrant offering ³  to God.

because the husband is the head of the wife as also Christ is the head of the church – he himself being the savior of the body.

For no one has ever hated his own body ¹  but he feeds it and takes care of it, just as Christ also does the church,

Nevertheless, ¹  each one of you must also love his own wife as he loves himself, ²  and the wife must ³  respect ⁴  her husband.

Pray ¹  for me also, that I may be given the message when I begin to speak ²  – that I may confidently make known ³  the mystery of the gospel,

Having been buried with him in baptism, you also have been raised with him through your ¹  faith in the power ²  of God who raised him from the dead.
