You must not wear clothing made with wool and linen meshed together. ¹ 

and to put on sandals but not to wear two tunics. ¹ 

what he stores up ¹  a righteous man will wear, and an innocent man will inherit his silver.

They will perish, but you continue. And they will all grow old like a garment,

A woman must not wear men’s clothing, ¹  nor should a man dress up in women’s clothing, for anyone who does this is offensive ²  to the Lord your God.

Your clothing did not wear out nor did your feet swell all these forty years.

as water wears away stones, and torrents ¹  wash away the soil, ²  so you destroy man’s hope. ³

So then, don’t worry saying, ‘What will we eat?’ or ‘What will we drink?’ or ‘What will we wear?’

“‘The high ¹  priest – who is greater than his brothers, on whose head the anointing oil is poured, who has been ordained ²  to wear the priestly garments – must neither dishevel the hair of his head nor tear his garments. ³ 

Now Samuel was ministering before the Lord. The boy was dressed in a linen ephod.
