the ark of the testimony and its poles, and the atonement lid;

If we accept the testimony of men, the testimony of God is greater, because ¹  this ²  is the testimony of God that ³  he has testified concerning his Son.

Yet even on this point their testimony did not agree.

You are to put into the ark the testimony ¹  that I will give to you.

“With it you are to anoint the tent of meeting, the ark of the testimony,

You are to place the ark of the testimony in it and shield the ark with the special curtain.

“You are to put it in front of the curtain that is before the ark of the testimony (before the atonement lid that is over the testimony), where I will meet you.

But the Levites must camp around the tabernacle of the testimony, so that the Lord’s anger ¹  will not fall on the Israelite community. The Levites are responsible for the care ²  of the tabernacle of the testimony.”

This will be a time for you to serve as witnesses. ¹ 

“Instruct the priests carrying the ark of the covenantal laws ¹  to come up from the Jordan.”

“If I testify about myself, my testimony is not true.

just as the testimony about Christ has been confirmed among you –

(I do not accept ¹  human testimony, but I say this so that you may be saved.)

Tie up the scroll as legal evidence, ¹  seal the official record of God’s instructions and give it to my followers. ² 

Many gave false testimony against him, but their testimony did not agree.

He testifies about what he has seen and heard, but no one accepts his testimony.

It is written in your law that the testimony of two men is true. ¹ 

who then ¹  testified to everything that he saw concerning the word of God and the testimony about ²  Jesus Christ.

Then Moses placed the staffs before the Lord in the tent of the testimony. ¹ 

After ¹  these things I looked, and the temple (the tent ²  of the testimony) ³  was opened in heaven,
