The Lord’s angel ¹  found Hagar near a spring of water in the desert – the spring that is along the road to Shur. ² 

He turns springs into streams; ¹  they flow between the mountains.

Have you gone to the springs that fill the sea, ¹  or walked about in the recesses of the deep?

He turned ¹  streams into a desert, springs of water into arid land,

As for his people, ¹  he turned ²  a desert into a pool of water, and a dry land into springs of water.
