May the creditor seize ¹  all he owns! May strangers loot his property! ² 

The ¹  rest seized his slaves, insolently mistreated them, and killed them.

Elijah told them, “Seize the prophets of Baal! Don’t let even one of them escape!” So they seized them, and Elijah led them down to the Kishon Valley and executed ¹  them there.

But Abraham lodged a complaint ¹  against Abimelech concerning a well ²  that Abimelech’s servants had seized. ³ 

For this reason the Jews seized me in the temple courts ¹  and were trying to kill me.

People of the west ¹  are appalled at his fate; ²  people of the east are seized with horror, ³  saying, ⁴ 

Then they took hold of him ¹  and arrested him.

Then ¹  they attempted ²  again to seize him, but he escaped their clutches. ³ 

That night – let darkness seize ¹  it; let it not be included ²  among the days of the year; let it not enter among the number of the months! ³ 

Their roar is like a lion’s; they roar like young lions. They growl and seize their prey; they drag it away and no one can come to the rescue.

They confiscate the fields they desire, and seize the houses they want. ¹  They defraud people of their homes, ²  and deprive people of the land they have inherited. ³ 

This man was seized ¹  by the Jews and they were about to kill him, ²  when I came up ³  with the detachment ⁴  and rescued him, because I had learned that he was ⁵  a Roman citizen. ⁶ 

Suppose a man comes across a virgin who is not engaged and overpowers and rapes ¹  her and they are discovered.

A trap ¹  seizes him by the heel; a snare ²  grips him.

Men ¹  move boundary stones; they seize the flock and pasture them. ² 

They say, ¹  “God has abandoned him. Run and seize him, for there is no one who will rescue him!”

For sin, seizing the opportunity through the commandment, deceived me and through it I died. ¹ 

The people of Damascus will lose heart and turn to flee. Panic will grip them. Pain and anguish will seize them like a woman in labor.

On that day there will be great confusion from the Lord among them; they will seize each other and attack one another violently.

A ¹  spirit seizes him, and he suddenly screams; ²  it throws him into convulsions ³  and causes him to foam at the mouth. It hardly ever leaves him alone, torturing ⁴  him severely.
