You are observing religious ¹  days and months and seasons and years.

For everything ¹  there is an appointed time, ²  and an appropriate time ³  for every activity ⁴  on earth: ⁵ 

I will give you your rains in their time so that ¹  the land will give its yield and the trees of the field will produce their fruit. ² 

Can you lead out the constellations ¹  in their seasons, or guide the Bear with its cubs? ² 

He made the moon to mark the months, ¹  and the sun sets according to a regular schedule. ² 

You will come to your grave in a full age, ¹  As stacks of grain are harvested in their season.

God said, “Let there be lights ¹  in the expanse ²  of the sky to separate the day from the night, and let them be signs ³  to indicate seasons and days and years,

Preach the message, ¹  be ready ²  whether it is convenient or not, ³  reprove, rebuke, exhort ⁴  with complete patience and instruction.

All of your creatures ¹  wait for you to provide them with food on a regular basis. ²

Let your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you should answer everyone.

Everything looks to you in anticipation, ¹  and you provide them with food on a regular basis. ² 

A person has joy ¹  in giving an appropriate answer, ²  and a word at the right time ³  – how good it is!

Moreover, you must season every one of your grain offerings with salt; you must not allow the salt of the covenant of your God to be missing from your grain offering ¹  – on every one of your grain offerings you must present salt.
