For they did not dare any longer to ask ¹  him anything.

When Hezekiah asked the priests and Levites about the heaps,

Solomon answered all her questions; there was no question too complex for the king. ¹ 

So ¹  Herod ²  questioned him at considerable length; Jesus ³  gave him no answer.

While ¹  the Pharisees ²  were assembled, Jesus asked them a question: ³

No one ¹  was able to answer him a word, and from that day on no one dared to question him any longer.

After ¹  three days ²  they found him in the temple courts, ³  sitting among the teachers, ⁴  listening to them and asking them questions.
