Woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursing their babies in those days!

Bilhah became pregnant ¹  and gave Jacob a son. ² 

The woman conceived and then sent word to David saying, “I’m pregnant.”

In this way both of Lot’s daughters became pregnant by their father.

She ¹  was pregnant and was screaming in labor pains, struggling ²  to give birth.

See the one who is pregnant with wickedness, who conceives destructive plans, and gives birth to harmful lies – ¹

This is what the Lord says: “Because the Ammonites have committed three crimes ¹  – make that four! ²  – I will not revoke my decree of judgment. ³  They ripped open Gilead’s pregnant women ⁴  so they could expand their territory.

So Sarah became pregnant ¹  and bore Abraham a son in his old age at the appointed time that God had told him.

Isaac prayed to ¹  the Lord on behalf of his wife because she was childless. The Lord answered his prayer, and his wife Rebekah became pregnant.
