There ¹  they continued to proclaim ²  the good news.

So ¹  he continued to preach in the synagogues of Judea. ² 

In those days John the Baptist came into the wilderness ¹  of Judea proclaiming,

So ¹  they went out and preached that all should repent.

But even if we (or an angel from heaven) should preach ¹  a gospel contrary to the one we preached to you, ²  let him be condemned to hell! ³ 

Some, to be sure, are preaching Christ from envy and rivalry, but others from goodwill.

For if I preach the gospel, I have no reason for boasting, because I am compelled to do this. Woe to me if I do not preach the gospel!

First the gospel must be preached to all nations.

So ¹  he went into all of Galilee preaching in their synagogues ²  and casting out demons.

Whether then it was I or they, this is the way we preach and this is the way you believed.

He ¹  went into all the region around the Jordan River, ²  preaching a baptism of repentance for the forgiveness of sins. ³ 

Now those who had been forced to scatter went around proclaiming the good news of the word.

Thus I am eager ¹  also to preach the gospel to you who are in Rome. ² 

but we preach about a crucified Christ, ¹  a stumbling block to Jews and foolishness to Gentiles.

But you know it was because of a physical illness that I first proclaimed the gospel to you,

And he came and preached peace to you who were far off and peace to those who were near,

As you go, preach this message: ‘The kingdom of heaven is near!’
