But if it was stolen ¹  from him, ²  he will pay its owner.

the owner of the pit must repay ¹  the loss. He must give money ²  to its owner, and the dead animal ³  will become his.

if I have eaten its produce without paying, ¹  or caused the death ²  of its owners, ³ 

If its owner was with it, he will not have to pay; if it was hired, what was paid for the hire covers it. ¹ 

As ¹  they were untying the colt, its owners asked them, ²  “Why are you untying that colt?”

If the ox gores a male servant or a female servant, the owner ¹  must pay thirty shekels of silver, ²  and the ox must be stoned. ³ 

If the thief is not caught, ¹  then the owner of the house will be brought before the judges ²  to see ³  whether he has laid ⁴  his hand on his neighbor’s goods.

When someone’s ¹  prosperity ²  increases, those who consume it also increase; so what does its owner ³  gain, except that he gets to see it with his eyes? ⁴ 

What then will the owner of the vineyard do? He will come and destroy ¹  those tenants and give the vineyard to others. ² 

Then ¹  the owner of the vineyard said, ‘What should I do? I will send my one dear son; ²  perhaps they will respect him.’
