Baalath, Tadmor in the wilderness, ¹ 

The Lord’s shout shakes ¹  the wilderness, the Lord shakes the wilderness of Kadesh. ² 

The Spirit immediately drove him into the wilderness.

Yet Jesus himself ¹  frequently withdrew ²  to the wilderness ³  and prayed.

So the Israelites set out ¹  on their journeys from the wilderness of Sinai; and the cloud settled in the wilderness of Paran.

The pastures in the wilderness glisten with moisture, ¹  and the hills are clothed with joy. ² 

For victory does not come from the east or west, or from the wilderness. ¹ 

They insulted God, saying, ¹  “Is God really able to give us food ²  in the wilderness?

How often they rebelled against him in the wilderness, and insulted him ¹  in the desert!
