You must not eat any forbidden ¹  thing.

So ¹  I again considered ²  another ³  futile thing on earth: ⁴ 

He went away again and prayed the same thing.

Then Abimelech asked ¹  Abraham, “What prompted you to do this thing?” ² 

“‘Every winged swarming thing that walks on all fours ¹  is detestable to you.

But any other winged swarming thing that has four legs is detestable to you.

Every swarming thing that swarms on the land is detestable; it must not be eaten.

and any winged thing on the ground are impure to you – they may not be eaten. ¹ 

You must not erect a sacred pillar, ¹  a thing the Lord your God detests.

Who can make ¹  a clean thing come from an unclean? ²  No one!

He has cut out channels ¹  through the rocks; his eyes have spotted ²  every precious thing.

You open your hand, and fill every living thing with the food they desire. ¹ 

For God will evaluate every deed, ¹  including every secret thing, whether good or evil.

Egypt will not be able to do a thing, head or tail, shoots and stalk. ¹ 

encourage your hearts and strengthen you ¹  in every good thing you do or say. ² 

Protect that good thing ¹  entrusted to you, through the Holy Spirit who lives within us.

It is a terrifying thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

You may eat any moving thing that lives. ¹  As I gave you ²  the green plants, I now give ³  you everything.
