and those who suffered from ¹  unclean ²  spirits were cured.

So, since Christ suffered ¹  in the flesh, you also arm yourselves with the same attitude, because the one who has suffered in the flesh has finished with sin, ² 

However, ¹  Paul ²  shook ³  the creature off into the fire and suffered no harm.

Have you suffered so many things for nothing? – if indeed it was for nothing.

But although we suffered earlier and were mistreated in Philippi, ¹  as you know, we had the courage in our God to declare to you the gospel of God ²  in spite of much opposition.
