Strength lodges in its neck, and despair ¹  runs before it.

My strength leaves me; ¹  I am absolutely shocked. ² 

Moreover, the strength of their ¹  hands – what use was it to me? Men whose strength ²  had perished;

You are the source of wealth and honor; ¹  you rule over all. You possess strength and might to magnify and give strength to all. ² 

They are your people, your valued property, ¹  whom you brought out with great strength and power. ² 

The bows of warriors are shattered, but those who stumble find their strength reinforced.

Now David, wearing a linen ephod, was dancing with all his strength before the Lord. ¹ 

You give me strength for battle; ¹  you make my foes kneel before me. ² 

Seek the Lord and the strength he gives! Seek his presence ¹  continually!

Majestic splendor emanates from him, ¹  he is the source of strength and joy. ² 

Ascribe to the Lord, O families of the nations, ascribe to the Lord splendor and strength!

Is my strength like that of stones? ¹  or is my flesh made of bronze?

He is wise in heart ¹  and mighty ²  in strength ³  – who has resisted ⁴  him and remained safe? ⁵ 

“How you have helped ¹  the powerless! ²  How you have saved the person who has no strength! ³ 

You have become cruel to me; ¹  with the strength of your hand you attack me. ² 

“Do you give the horse its strength? Do you clothe its neck with a mane? ¹ 

Look ¹  at its strength in its loins, and its power in the muscles of its belly.

The one true God ¹  gives ²  me strength; ³  he removes ⁴  the obstacles in my way. ⁵ 

You give me strength ¹  for battle; you make my foes kneel before me. ² 

Rise up, O Lord, in strength! ¹  We will sing and praise ²  your power!
