The Lord watches ¹  from heaven; he sees all people. ² 

So Hagar named the Lord who spoke to her, “You are the God who sees me,” ¹  for she said, “Here I have seen one who sees me!” ² 

“Do you have eyes of flesh, ¹  or do you see ²  as a human being sees? ³ 

For he ¹  knows deceitful ²  men; when he sees evil, will he not ³  consider it? ⁴ 

where then ¹  is my hope? And my hope, ²  who sees it?

His lightning bolts light up the world; the earth sees and trembles.

The ear that hears and the eye that sees ¹  – the Lord has made them both. ² 

until the Lord looks down from heaven and sees what has happened. ¹ 

He sees the sword coming against the land, blows the trumpet, ¹  and warns the people, ² 

He redeemed my life ¹  from going down to the place of corruption, and my life sees the light!’

A shrewd person ¹  sees danger ²  and hides himself, but the naive keep right on going ³  and suffer for it. ⁴

For this is what the sovereign master ¹  has told me: “Go, post a guard! He must report what he sees.

When he sees chariots, teams of horses, ¹  riders on donkeys, riders on camels, he must be alert, very alert.”

The Lord reveals ¹  his royal power ²  in the sight of all the nations; the entire ³  earth sees our God deliver. ⁴ 

When he sees ¹  a good resting place, and the pleasant land, he will bend his shoulder to the burden and become a slave laborer. ² 

the oracle of the one who hears the words of God, who sees a vision from the Almighty, although falling flat on the ground ¹  with eyes open: ² 

The eye of him who sees me now will see me no more; ¹  your eyes will look for me, but I will be gone. ² 

He entreats God, and God ¹  delights in him, he sees God’s face ²  with rejoicing, and God ³  restores to him his righteousness. ⁴ 

Surely ¹  one sees ²  that even wise people die; ³  fools and spiritually insensitive people all pass away ⁴  and leave their wealth to others. ⁵
