Those who heard this said, “Then ¹  who can be saved?” ² 

“How you have helped ¹  the powerless! ²  How you have saved the person who has no strength! ³ 

This oppressed man cried out and the Lord heard; he saved him ¹  from all his troubles.

The ¹  disciples were greatly astonished when they heard this and said, “Then who can be saved?” ² 

But the person who endures to the end will be saved. ¹ 

They were even more astonished and said ¹  to one another, “Then ²  who can be saved?” ³ 

He ¹  said to the woman, “Your faith ²  has saved you; ³  go in peace.”

Someone ¹  asked ²  him, “Lord, will only a few ³  be saved?” So ⁴  he said to them,

(I do not accept ¹  human testimony, but I say this so that you may be saved.)

And then ¹  everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.’ ² 

Then he brought them outside ¹  and asked, “Sirs, what must ²  I do to be saved?”

They replied, ¹  “Believe ²  in the Lord Jesus ³  and you will be saved, you and your household.”

For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. ¹ 

And if the righteous are barely saved, what will become of ¹  the ungodly and sinners? ² 

They replied, “You have saved our lives! You are showing us favor, ¹  and we will be Pharaoh’s slaves.” ² 

To you they cried out, and they were saved; in you they trusted and they were not disappointed. ¹ 

No king is delivered by his vast army; a warrior is not saved by his great might.

Yes, Lord! I am indeed your servant; I am your lowest slave. ¹  You saved me from death. ² 

The one who believes and is baptized will be saved, but the one who does not believe will be condemned.

that we should be saved ¹  from our enemies, ²  and from the hand of all who hate us.
