It has no commander, overseer, or ¹  ruler,

“You must not blaspheme ¹  God ²  or curse the ruler of your people.

A ruler will be established from Jacob; he will destroy the remains of the city.’” ¹ 

The king authorized his release; ¹  the ruler of nations set him free.

Excessive ¹  speech ²  is not becoming for a fool; ³  how much less are lies ⁴  for a ruler! ⁵ 

When you sit down to eat with a ruler, consider carefully ¹  what ²  is before you,

Do not crave that ruler’s ¹  delicacies, for ²  that food is deceptive. ³ 

Through patience ¹  a ruler can be persuaded, ²  and a soft tongue ³  can break a bone. ⁴ 

If a ruler listens to ¹  lies, ²  all his ministers ³  will be wicked. ⁴ 

I have seen another ¹  misfortune ²  on the earth: ³  It is an error a ruler makes. ⁴ 

Look, I made him a witness to nations, ¹  a ruler and commander of nations.”

From him will come the cornerstone, ¹  the wall peg, ²  the battle bow, and every ruler. ³ 

But the Pharisees ¹  said, “By the ruler ²  of demons he casts out demons.” ³ 

Now ¹  a certain ruler ²  asked him, “Good teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?” ³ 

and concerning judgment, ¹  because ²  the ruler of this world ³  has been condemned. ⁴ 

and you have been filled in him, who is the head over every ruler and authority.

This same ¹  Moses they had rejected, saying, ‘Who made you a ruler and judge?’ ²  God sent as both ruler and deliverer ³  through the hand of the angel ⁴  who appeared to him in the bush.

in which ¹  you formerly lived ²  according to this world’s present path, ³  according to the ruler of the kingdom ⁴  of the air, the ruler of ⁵  the spirit ⁶  that is now energizing ⁷  the sons of disobedience, ⁸ 

He ¹  gives his chosen king magnificent victories; ²  he is faithful ³  to his chosen ruler, ⁴  to David and his descendants ⁵  forever.” ⁶ 

and how he made a vow to the Lord, and swore an oath to the powerful ruler of Jacob. ¹
