Kings reign by means of me, and potentates ¹  decree ²  righteousness;

Relent, ¹  let there be no falsehood; ²  reconsider, ³  for my righteousness is intact! ⁴ 

Your wickedness affects only ¹  a person like yourself, and your righteousness only other people. ² 

With my knowledge I will speak comprehensively, ¹  and to my Creator I will ascribe righteousness. ² 

To receive ¹  moral instruction ²  in skillful living, ³  in ⁴  righteousness, ⁵  justice, ⁶  and equity. ⁷ 

Then you will understand ¹  righteousness and justice and equity – every ²  good ³  way. ⁴ 

Riches and honor are with me, long-lasting wealth and righteousness.

I walk in the path of righteousness, in the pathway of justice,

Treasures gained by wickedness ¹  do not profit, but righteousness ²  delivers from mortal danger. ³ 

Wealth does not profit in the day of wrath, ¹  but righteousness delivers from mortal danger. ² 

The wicked person ¹  earns ²  deceitful wages, ³  but the one who sows ⁴  righteousness reaps ⁵  a genuine ⁶  reward. ⁷ 

In the path of righteousness there is life, but another path leads to death. ¹ 

Righteousness ¹  guards the one who lives with integrity, ²  but wickedness ³  overthrows the sinner.

Righteousness exalts ¹  a nation, but sin is a disgrace ²  to any people.

The Lord abhors ¹  the way of the wicked, but he loves those ²  who pursue ³  righteousness.

Better to have a little with righteousness ¹  than to have abundant income without justice. ² 

Doing wickedness ¹  is an abomination to kings, because a throne ²  is established in righteousness.

Gray hair is like ¹  a crown of glory; ²  it is attained ³  in the path of righteousness. ⁴ 

To do righteousness and justice is more acceptable ¹  to the Lord than sacrifice. ² 

The one who pursues righteousness and love ¹  finds life, bounty, ²  and honor.
