And whatever you ask in prayer, if you believe, ¹  you will receive.”

Jesus ¹  said to him, “Receive ²  your sight; your faith has healed you.” ³

John replied, ¹  “No one can receive anything unless it has been given to him from heaven.

And after he said this, he breathed on them and said, ¹  “Receive the Holy Spirit. ² 

So the lame man ¹  paid attention to them, expecting to receive something from them.

They ¹  continued to stone Stephen while he prayed, “Lord Jesus, receive my spirit!”

These two ¹  went down and prayed for them so that they would receive the Holy Spirit.

and know his will ¹  and approve the superior things because you receive instruction from the law, ² 

Receive one another, then, just as Christ also received you, to God’s glory.

If what someone has built survives, he will receive a reward.
