The lions roar for prey, seeking their food from God. ¹ 

The lion tore apart as much prey as his cubs needed ¹  and strangled prey to provide food ²  for his lionesses; he filled ³  his lairs with prey and his dens with torn flesh.

When birds of prey came down on the carcasses, Abram drove them away.

The mighty lion ¹  perishes ²  for lack of prey, and the cubs of the lioness ³  are scattered.

They glide by ¹  like reed ²  boats, like an eagle that swoops ³  down on its prey. ⁴ 

a hidden path ¹  no bird of prey knows – no falcon’s ²  eye has spotted it.

I broke the fangs ¹  of the wicked, and made him drop ²  his prey from his teeth.

“Do you hunt prey for the lioness, and satisfy the appetite ¹  of the lions,

From there it spots ¹  its prey, ²  its eyes gaze intently from a distance.

They ¹  open their mouths to devour me ²  like a roaring lion that rips its prey. ³ 

The Lord deserves praise, ¹  for ²  he did not hand us over as prey to their teeth.

The lazy person does not roast ¹  his prey, but personal possessions ²  are precious to the diligent.

Benjamin is a ravenous wolf; in the morning devouring the prey, and in the evening dividing the plunder.”

Who prepares prey for the raven, when its young cry out to God and wander about ¹  for lack of food?

You shine brightly and reveal your majesty, as you descend from the hills where you killed your prey. ¹
