So ¹  he continued to preach in the synagogues of Judea. ² 

As you go, preach this message: ‘The kingdom of heaven is near!’

He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.

Thus I am eager ¹  also to preach the gospel to you who are in Rome. ² 

but we preach about a crucified Christ, ¹  a stumbling block to Jews and foolishness to Gentiles.

For if I preach the gospel, I have no reason for boasting, because I am compelled to do this. Woe to me if I do not preach the gospel!

From that time Jesus began to preach this message: ¹  “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near.”

When ¹  Jesus had finished instructing his twelve disciples, he went on from there to teach and preach in their towns.

therefore ¹  you who teach someone else, do you not teach yourself? You who preach against stealing, do you steal?

Whether then it was I or they, this is the way we preach and this is the way you believed.

Preach the message, ¹  be ready ²  whether it is convenient or not, ³  reprove, rebuke, exhort ⁴  with complete patience and instruction.

He replied, ¹  “Let us go elsewhere, into the surrounding villages, so that I can preach there too. For that is what I came out here to do.” ² 

He ¹  appointed twelve (whom he named apostles ² ), ³  so that they would be with him and he could send them to preach

He ¹  commanded us to preach to the people and to warn ²  them ³  that he is the one ⁴  appointed ⁵  by God as judge ⁶  of the living and the dead.

But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” ¹  (that is, the word of faith that we preach),

And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How timely ¹  is the arrival ²  of those who proclaim the good news.” ³ 

And in this way I desire to preach where Christ has not been named, so as not to build on another person’s foundation,

For Christ did not send me to baptize, but to preach the gospel – and not with clever speech, so that the cross of Christ would not become useless. ¹ 

so that we may preach the gospel in the regions that lie beyond you, and not boast of work already done in another person’s area.

But even if we (or an angel from heaven) should preach ¹  a gospel contrary to the one we preached to you, ²  let him be condemned to hell! ³
