The Israelites said to Moses, “We are bound to die! ¹  We perish, we all perish!

Therefore the land will mourn, and all its inhabitants will perish. ¹  The wild animals, ²  the birds of the sky, and even the fish in the sea will perish.

You will perish among the nations; the land of your enemies will consume you.

They are destroyed ¹  between morning and evening; ²  they perish forever ³  without anyone regarding it. ⁴ 

Caravans ¹  turn aside from their routes; they go ²  into the wasteland ³  and perish. ⁴ 

all flesh would perish together and human beings would return to dust.

but, despite their wealth, people do not last, ¹  they are like animals ²  that perish. ³ 

Wealthy people do not understand; ¹  they are like animals ²  that perish. ³ 

When the righteous do well, ¹  the city rejoices; ²  when the wicked perish, there is joy.

The wicked are overthrown ¹  and perish, ²  but the righteous household ³  will stand.

A false witness will not go unpunished, and the one who spouts out ¹  lies will perish. ² 

A lying witness ¹  will perish, ²  but the one who reports accurately speaks forever. ³ 

When the wicked gain control, ¹  people ²  hide themselves, ³  but when they perish, ⁴  the righteous increase.

All rebellious sinners will be shattered, ¹  those who abandon the Lord will perish.

Furthermore, the Lord your God will release hornets ¹  among them until the very last ones who hide from you ²  perish.

He ¹  will afflict you with weakness, ²  fever, inflammation, infection, ³  sword, ⁴  blight, and mildew; these will attack you until you perish.

“Let the day on which ¹  I was born ²  perish, and the night that said, ³  ‘A man ⁴  has been conceived!’ ⁵ 

By the breath ¹  of God they perish, ²  and by the blast ³  of his anger they are consumed.

He tears me down ¹  on every side until I perish; ²  he uproots ³  my hope ⁴  like one uproots ⁵  a tree.

he will perish forever, like his own excrement; ¹  those who used to see him will say, ‘Where is he?’
