They said to him, “Lord, let our eyes be opened.”

And tombs were opened, and the bodies of many saints who had died ¹  were raised.

Then ¹  he looked up to heaven and said with a sigh, “Ephphatha” (that is, “Be opened”). ² 

And immediately the man’s ¹  ears were opened, his tongue loosened, and he spoke plainly.

Immediately ¹  Zechariah’s ²  mouth was opened and his tongue ³  released, ⁴  and he spoke, blessing God.

Then he opened their minds so they could understand the scriptures, ¹ 

We have spoken freely to you, ¹  Corinthians; our heart has been opened wide to you.

Then ¹  when the Lamb ²  opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature saying, “Come!”

And their eyes were opened. Then Jesus sternly warned them, “See that no one knows about this.”

Now when ¹  all the people were baptized, Jesus also was baptized. And while he was praying, ²  the heavens ³  opened,

At this point ¹  their eyes were opened and they recognized ²  him. ³  Then ⁴  he vanished out of their sight.

But during the night an angel of the Lord ¹  opened ²  the doors of the prison, ³  led them out, ⁴  and said,

“Look!” he said. ¹  “I see the heavens opened, and the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God!”

Now Peter continued knocking, and when they opened the door ¹  and saw him, they were greatly astonished. ² 

Then ¹  when the Lamb opened the fourth seal I heard the voice of the fourth living creature saying, “Come!”

Now ¹  when the Lamb ²  opened the seventh seal there was silence in heaven for about half an hour.

After ¹  these things I looked, and the temple (the tent ²  of the testimony) ³  was opened in heaven,

“Ask ¹  and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door ²  will be opened for you.

For everyone who asks ¹  receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.

Then Jesus ¹  placed his hands on the man’s ²  eyes again. And he opened his eyes, ³  his sight was restored, and he saw everything clearly.
