“You shall not give ¹  false testimony ²  against your neighbor.

The second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ ¹ 

“You shall not covet ¹  your neighbor’s house. You shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, nor his male servant, nor his female servant, nor his ox, nor his donkey, nor anything that belongs to your neighbor.” ² 

When you see ¹  your neighbor’s ²  ox or sheep going astray, do not ignore it; ³  you must return it without fail ⁴  to your neighbor.

He ¹  does not slander, ²  or do harm to others, ³  or insult his neighbor. ⁴ 

Do not plot ¹  evil against your neighbor when ²  he dwells by you unsuspectingly.

The one who denounces ¹  his neighbor lacks wisdom, ²  but the one who has discernment ³  keeps silent. ⁴ 

The one who despises his neighbor sins, but whoever is kind to the needy is blessed.

A violent person ¹  entices ²  his neighbor, and leads him down a path that is terrible. ³ 

The appetite ¹  of the wicked desires ²  evil; his neighbor is shown no favor ³  in his eyes.

When you argue a case ¹  with your neighbor, do not reveal the secret of another person, ² 

so is a person ¹  who deceives his neighbor, and says, “Was I not only joking?” ² 

The one ¹  who flatters ²  his neighbor spreads a net ³  for his steps. ⁴ 

“You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor’ ¹  and ‘hate your enemy.’

honor your father and mother, ¹  and love your neighbor as yourself.” ² 

The second is: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ ¹  There is no other commandment greater than these.”

But the expert, ¹  wanting to justify ²  himself, said to Jesus, “And who is my neighbor?”

Love does no wrong to a neighbor. Therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.

Let each of us please his neighbor for his good to build him up.

When you go into the ripe grain fields of your neighbor you may pluck off the kernels with your hand, ¹  but you must not use a sickle on your neighbor’s ripe grain.
