I do not need to take ¹  a bull from your household or goats from your sheepfolds.

You need not fear the terrors of the night, ¹  the arrow that flies by day,

Do not withhold good from those who need it, ¹  when ²  you ³  have the ability ⁴  to help. ⁵ 

and your poverty will come like a robber, ¹  and your need like an armed man. ² 

and your poverty will come like a bandit, and your need like an armed robber.” ¹

You will laugh at destruction and famine ¹  and need not ²  be afraid of the beasts of the earth.
