Brotherly love must continue.

If it is service, he must serve; if it is teaching, he must teach;

So then we must not sleep as the rest, but must stay alert and sober.

then those in Judea must flee ¹  to the mountains.

First the gospel must be preached to all nations.

But ¹  his mother replied, ²  “No! He must be named ³  John.” ⁴ 

Instead new wine must be poured into new wineskins. ¹ 

He must become more important while I become less important.” ¹ 

But we must ¹  run aground on some island.”

if it is exhortation, he must exhort; if it is contributing, he must do so with sincerity; if it is leadership, he must do so with diligence; if it is showing mercy, he must do so with cheerfulness.

But the one who boasts must boast in the Lord. ¹ 

A woman must learn ¹  quietly with all submissiveness.

The evildoer must continue to do evil, ¹  and the one who is morally filthy ²  must continue to be filthy. The ³  one who is righteous must continue to act righteously, and the one who is holy must continue to be holy.”

It must not be this way among you! Instead whoever wants to be great among you must be your servant,

For this perishable body must put on the imperishable, and this mortal body must put on immortality.

And he must turn away from evil and do good; he must seek peace and pursue it.

Then those who are in Judea must flee ¹  to the mountains. Those ²  who are inside the city must depart. Those ³  who are out in the country must not enter it,

Jesus answered, ¹  “You ²  unbelieving ³  and perverse generation! How much longer ⁴  must I be with you? How much longer must I endure ⁵  you? ⁶  Bring him here to me.”

He answered them, ¹  “You ²  unbelieving ³  generation! How much longer ⁴  must I be with you? How much longer must I endure ⁵  you? ⁶  Bring him to me.”

John ¹  answered them, ²  “The person who has two tunics ³  must share with the person who has none, and the person who has food must do likewise.”
