The Lord instructed Joshua:

Joshua instructed ¹  the leaders of the people:

So Moses instructed ¹  the Israelites to observe ²  the Passover.

So Joshua instructed the priests, “Come up from the Jordan!”

Look, ¹  you have instructed ²  many; you have strengthened ³  feeble hands. ⁴
