For though we live ¹  as human beings, ²  we do not wage war according to human standards, ³ 

For human ¹  anger does not accomplish God’s righteousness. ² 

Does the one who makes the human ear not hear? Does the one who forms the human eye not see? ¹ 

Surely ¹  I am more brutish ²  than any other human being, ³  and I do not have human understanding; ⁴ 

– children not born ¹  by human parents ²  or by human desire ³  or a husband’s ⁴  decision, ⁵  but by God.

For the foolishness of God is wiser than human wisdom, ¹  and the weakness of God is stronger than human strength. ²
