The Lord told Elijah the Tishbite: ¹ 

The Lord said to Elijah the Tishbite, ¹ 

Jaareshiah, Elijah, and Zikri were the sons of Jeroham.

Then ¹  two men, Moses and Elijah, ²  began talking with him. ³ 

Just before ¹  the Lord took Elijah up to heaven in a windstorm, Elijah and Elisha were traveling from Gilgal.

She went and did as Elijah told her; there was always enough food for Elijah and for her and her family. ¹ 

Elijah took the boy, brought him down from the upper room to the house, and handed him to his mother. Elijah then said, “See, your son is alive!”

As Obadiah was traveling along, Elijah met him. ¹  When he recognized him, he fell facedown to the ground and said, “Is it really you, my master, Elijah?”

So Elijah went to make an appearance before Ahab. Now the famine was severe in Samaria. ¹ 

He replied, “Yes, ¹  go and say to your master, ‘Elijah is back.’” ² 

Now you say, ‘Go and say to your master, “Elijah is back.”’ ¹ 

When Obadiah went and informed Ahab, the king went to meet Elijah. ¹ 

From the descendants of Harim: Maaseiah, Elijah, Shemaiah, Jehiel, and Uzziah.

From the descendants of Elam: Mattaniah, Zechariah, Jehiel, Abdi, Jeremoth, and Elijah.

And if you are willing to accept it, he is Elijah, who is to come.

Then Moses ¹  and Elijah ²  also appeared before them, talking with him.

He ¹  answered, “Elijah does indeed come first and will restore all things.

When ¹  some of the bystanders heard it, they said, “This man is calling for Elijah.”

They said, ¹  “John the Baptist, others say Elijah, ²  and still others, one of the prophets.”

Then Elijah appeared before them along with Moses, ¹  and they were talking with Jesus.
